Who we are

Private Money Broker LLC, doing business as Private Capital ("Private Capital," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent capital advisory firm based at 3 Grace Ave, Great Neck, New York 11021. We operate the website at privatecapital.loans and may be reached at samuel@privatecapital.loans or 516-965-5491.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and business name — submitted through inquiry or scheduling forms on our site.
  • Information about your financing need — loan purpose, amount, property type, or business type — as voluntarily provided in form fields or conversations.
  • Correspondence — emails, messages, or other communications you send us.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our site: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages viewed. This is collected through standard server logs and, if present, analytics scripts.

Information collected through our application portal. When you apply for financing through our secure online portal, we also collect information necessary to evaluate and place your request:

  • Business information — legal name, DBA, federal tax identification number (EIN), business address, entity type, industry, and revenue and outstanding-obligation figures.
  • Owner information — for each principal owner: name, date of birth, home address, ownership percentage, contact details, and Social Security number.
  • Bank account information — with your authorization, we connect your bank account through our service provider Stripe (Stripe Financial Connections) to retrieve, on a read-only basis, account balances, transaction history, and account ownership. We never receive your online banking credentials.
  • Consumer credit reports — with your authorization, we and our lender partners may obtain consumer credit reports and related verifications.
  • Documents you upload — such as tax returns, bank statements, financial statements, and identification.
  • Your electronic signature and the authorizations you provide.

We collect this information directly from you, from the documents and accounts you provide or connect, and from consumer reporting agencies and verification sources you authorize.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations.
  • Evaluate and present financing options that may be appropriate for your situation.
  • Underwrite and evaluate your application — including assessing cash flow, revenue, and creditworthiness — and prepare it for submission to prospective lenders.
  • Communicate about our services, including follow-up after a consultation.
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we share information

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Lender partners. If you ask us to submit your information to potential lenders as part of a capital placement engagement, we will share the information necessary for that purpose. We will inform you before doing so.
  • Service providers. We use third-party vendors that process data on our behalf, including bank-account connectivity (Stripe), cloud hosting and database services, encrypted document storage, identity authentication, email delivery, and scheduling and CRM tools. These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes, and store this information in the United States.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and consent — verbally with our representative or by checking the consent box on our secure application at apply.privatecapital.loans — we send you account and servicing text messages related to your financing request: your secure application link, document requests, and status updates, and we reply to questions you send us. Message frequency varies based on your application activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of using our advisory services.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive one confirmation and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at samuel@privatecapital.loans or 516-965-5491.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. Where you ask us to submit your application to lenders to obtain financing (see “How we share information” above), that sharing is limited to the information necessary for underwriting and does not include your mobile opt-in or SMS consent for those parties’ own marketing.

Data retention

We retain contact and inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and maintain business records, and for up to five years thereafter unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Your choices

You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email samuel@privatecapital.loans. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you receive marketing emails from us, each email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out by contacting us directly.

Cookies and tracking

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for session management and analytics. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Some features of the site may not function correctly if cookies are disabled.

Children

Our services are directed to businesses and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of our site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
